International Extension of the IRCnet strike
The announcement of the German IRCnet operators
to temporarily stop service for all German users got a large response
from the international IRCnet maintainers.
Arbitrary acts of sabotage of individuals and groups against facilities
of sites hosting IRCnet servers are order of the day. For this reason
the following IRCnet servers or countries decided to participate in the
strike:
- .at (vienna.irc.at and hb.irc.at, linz.irc.at undecided)
- .au (?)
- .ch (all)
- .cz (all)
- .de (all)
- .dk (all)
- .fi (eu.irc6.net)
- .fr (ircnet.grolier.net, irc.twiny.org)
- .gr (delink)
- .hr (all)
- .hu (all)
- .is (delink)
- .nl (all including *.nl.uu.net)
- .no (all)
- .ru (all)
- .se (all w/o irc.cd.chalmers.se)
- .si (all)
- .sk (all)
- .us (irc.cifnet.com)
