4. | Supports different Country Codes (INT, GER, TEL, AT and CUSTOM) the custom CoCo is for use with providers using special EMM IDs e.g XNetTV(0606 for EMM and 0602 for ECM). |
5. | Supports different ACS (1.2, 1.4, 1.6, 1.8, 1.9, 2.1, 382, 383, 384).(See Note 2) |
6. | Logs new PMK and PK(Hex and Freecam) to a session file and to a Log Window. |
7. | You can enter new keys in real time. (See Note) |
8. | No limit for number of providers. |
9. | Log files are saved in Logs sub-folder under the main application folder. |
2.2 Main Window
1. Settings Button is used to setup the communication port you want to use with the season interface. In most cases Irdeto works at 9600,8,none,1 but you can modify if that doesnt work.
2. Providers Button is to display the Providers Listbox : You can Add/Edit/Delete providers. Information entered while Adding/Editing a provider :
a. | Provider Name : Any char. Except the comma , which is used as delimiter by WallBanger.
b. | Hex Serial : 3 Bytes and Hex MasterKey: 10 Bytes these are used to update your PlainMasterKeys (PMK).You dont need to worry about HMK being XORed or not WallBanger tries it both ways automatically.
c. | Irdeto ACS version. | |
d. | Country Code used by the provider : plain vanilla irdeto providers use INT, BetaCrypt providers use GER (e.g Premiere World), TEL (eg. Mediavision) or AUT (e.g ORF). The CUSTOM option is used for providers with special Country Code replies e.g XNetTV, ZeeTV (Hotbird) for these providers you have to set the EMM/ECM IDs and set your CI Cams options to EMM=AUTO and ECM=AUTO (4.6SE & 4.7SE). Humax IRCI-5400 patched does not require any option changes.
e. | Provider ID : 3 Bytes | |
f. | PlainMasterKey and PlainKeys : 8 Bytes length.
g. | Beacon Channel, Date : used to identify the provider when that providers PlainKeys become obsolete. When PlainKeys are OK WallBanger will update the Date for you; when PlainKeys are incorrect the Beacon Channel/Date combination is used to identify the provider so you will only need to reset your cam to receive the new PlainKeys if you have a PlainMasterKey of course. |
3. Connect Button is used to connect to the chosen serial port. Please Note that placing a check mark on auto connect in the settings page will auto connect you to the port. Please make sure auto connect is not in conflict with ports set to aAuto connect in other modes.
4. Exit Button to close all open ports, logfiles and exit WallBanger.
5. EMM ID checkbox is used when you want to send the special provider EMM ID in order to receive PlainKeys. When you receive the PlainKeys you will see a green checkmark next to provider ID meaning that WallBanger has received the PlainKeys. For 4.6SE cams and Eurocam version 2.09 you will get the picture, for 4.7SE you have to uncheck EMM ID checkbox and reset the cam.
6. Beacon Hunt works with the Beacon Channel/Date in the Provider Data (explained earlier).
7. Export/Import Buttons are used to export Irdeto keys from WallBanger or import Irdeto keys to WallBanger. This functionality is available when you are not connected. Tip: The picture is decoded for 15/20 seconds even when you click disconnect so you can disconnect, import or export keys, connect again without making any noise your cam will not know :)
8. Log Window Button to Show/Hide the Log Window :
a. | Log New Keys checkbox is used to open a session log file for new keys received. Only new keys are logged to the file/lower Window in hexadecimal and 30-digit format for freecams. The Existing Keys are logged to the upper Window. The name of the log file is in the form IrdkeysYYYYMMDD.LOG e.g Irdkeys20010201.LOG for February 1,2001 log and so on.
b. | Log Instructions checkbox: To log the EMM Instructions to a Log file, the EMM commands are displayed in the upper part of the Log Window.
c. | Emoticons: enable/disable display of emotion glyphs in the Log windows.
d. | Log options : amount of data to log : None,Main(EMM..) or All Data |
9. Info Button will show the About WallBanger Window.
10.Logger Button : toggle between Emulation or card logging mode.
Whenever the PlainMasterKey becomes obsolete you will see a red X next to the Provider ID, if the HexMasterKey is wrong you will see a red X next to the Hex Serial.
Note : If you enter new PlainKeys in the Provider Data Window these keys will go into effect immediately. For the PlainMasterKeys, if there is no change in the Provider ID then they will go into effect immediately otherwise you have to reset the cam.
Note 2 : For ACS 2.1 : the startup info is already programmed in WallBanger : provider 20 is a mirror of provider 00, provider 30 is a mirror of provider 10. The algo is not modified yet but if you can spare a correct PlainKey so that I can test I would really appreciate it, please dont send fake keys because that wouldnt be nice.
